This morning we worked on making a Predictable Chart! The purpose of a Predictable Chart is to focus children’s attention on print, to reinforce 1:1 match between speech and print, and recognition of high frequency words. We each completed the sentence, "I can..." After I cut up their sentences and student students put them back together.
This afternoon Marek's mom was the Mystery Reader! She read a Little Bill book to all the Kindergartners and First Grades.
