First Day Of School

I am so excited to start kindergarten with your children!  It's been great meeting the parents and children who came in for reading tests these past couple weeks. 


I know we've already sent out supply lists, but the kindergarten teacher team just noticed today the list is missing 3x5 index cards. If you can pick up a pack for the class it would be very helpful. We use these cards to create word rings for the students to use to practice sight words.

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 6, 2011.

       REMINDERS:

• There is no school lunch the first week of school.  Make sure you send your child to school with a healthy lunch.
• Students are let into my classroom at 8:20am and school begins at 8:30am and ends at 3:30pm.
• Make sure your child has a backpack and brings it on the first day.
• Please send a change of clothes with your student to keep at school incase of an accident.
• Your child needs to wear uniform on the first day.
