What a busy first day of school! I'm sure your student will be extra sleepy tonight! We did so much! We read the book, "The Kissing Hand" about a raccoon who was nervous about the first day of school. We made a kissing hand for our parents so they don't miss us too much during the day while we are busy learning! You'll find the poster we made in your student's blue homework folder. Please check the folder daily for notes and homework and send it back to school the following day.

Fun at recess!!!
We went on a name hunt in our classroom to find all the places where our names are written. We matched up a card with our name on it to the names we found around the room.
What a great Kindergarten Class!!!
