Today Te'Mar got his first pair of glasses. The class was so excited because now we have 4 students with glasses! We had to take a picture!
Also, today we played a new game to reinforce addition skills. I LOVE this game because it has pictures for each number. Remember: in kindergarten, students should not be memorizing addition facts. It's OK to count on fingers. In kindergarten, when we are learning addition, we are learning about what it means to add and what it looks like visually to put different amounts together. That is why I often write on home to "draw out" the problems.
